Good info, but could use more examples
The Black & Decker guide has a lot of solid information, but I wish it had more real-world examples. Some parts felt a bit vague, especially for a beginner like me. Still, I managed to learn a thing or two about siding!

Not what I expected
I thought this book would be more hands-on, but it felt more like a compilation of tips rather than a how-to book. Some sections seemed rushed. I’m not sure it’s worth the money for someone who is looking for detailed projects.

Handy reference for a DIY project
I borrowed this book from a friend while working on my shed, and it was super helpful! The detailed diagrams for roofing and siding made everything straightforward. The tips on trim were also a nice bonus. Definitely recommend if you're looking to tackle some home improvements yourself!
