I was expecting a more engaging narrative, but it didn’t deliver for me. Some chapters were just too dry and felt repetitive. I wanted a more vivid portrayal of the experiences described.

This book offers a ton of historical context, which I appreciate. However, at times it felt a bit heavy and dense, making it slow to get through. It’s definitely a must-read for anyone interested in urban studies, though.
