I was eager to dive into 'Black Postcards', but when it arrived, the cover was damaged. It was frustrating as I really wanted to enjoy this memoir. I’ll still read it, but the damaged book is disappointing.

'Black Postcards' has some beautiful moments and reflections, but I wished it was longer. The writing is lovely, but I felt like it wrapped up too quickly. Still, it’s a nice memoir to add to my collection.
