Master storyteller Stephen King (writing as Richard Bachman) presents this gripping and remarkable New York Times bestselling crime novel about a damaged young man who embarks on an ill-advised kidnapping plot—a work as taut and riveting as anything he has ever written.
Once upon a time, a fellow named Richard Bachman wrote Blaze on an Olivetti typewriter, then turned the machine over to Stephen King, who used it to write Carrie. Bachman died in 1985 (“cancer of the pseudonym”), but this last gripping Bachman novel resurfaced after being hidden away for decades—an unforgettable crime story tinged with sadness and suspense.
Clayton Blaisdell, Jr., was always a small-time delinquent. None too bright either, thanks to the beatings he got as a kid. Then Blaze met George Rackley, a seasoned pro with a hundred cons and one big idea. The kidnapping should go off without a hitch, with George as the brains behind their dangerous scheme. But theres only one problem: by the time the deal goes down, Blazes partner in crime is dead. Or is he?

As a book lover, I often buy used copies. 'A Novel' was in surprisingly good shape for a used condition item! The plot twists kept me hooked till the end. It’s a nice find for anyone who enjoys a good read without the hefty price tag.

Decent, But Packaging Was Off
I was excited to read 'A Novel' in used condition, and the story didn’t disappoint. However, the package it came in was slightly torn, which was disappointing. This was my first order from here, so I hope the next one arrives better!

Not What I Expected
Got 'A Novel' in used condition, but there were a few more wear marks than I anticipated. The story was decent, but I felt it was a bit slow-paced. Still, I'm glad I read it for the price, but I just wished it was in better shape when it arrived.

Dissapointed with Quality
I was really looking forward to reading 'A Novel,' but the used condition wasn't as up to par as I expected. The corners were bent and some pages were marked, which made it hard to enjoy the reading experience. Might try a new copy next time.

Perfect for My Book Club
I ordered 'A Novel' for a book club, and it was a solid choice. Although it was used, the text was legible, and it sparked some great discussions among friends. Plus, it's nice knowing I didn’t spend too much on it!
