Tatschlich bietet der Blick auch aus neurophysiologischer Sicht einen messbaren Zugang zu informationsverarbeitenden Aktivitten des Gehirns und eventuellen Strungen, wie sie bei den psychotischen Strungen angenommen werden. Die vorliegende Untersuchung beobachtete erstmals Abweichungen des Blickverhaltens sowohl bei Personen, die krzlich an einer Schizophrenie erkrankten, als auch bei Personen mit klinischen Anzeichen fr ein erhhtes Psychoserisiko. Bei beiden Personengruppen konnten diese Abweichungen mit dem tatschlichen psychosozialen Funktionsniveau Betroffener in Verbindung gebracht werden, zum Beispiel mit Dichte und Qualitt des sozialen Netzwerks sowie Leistungen in Schule, Beruf oder Ausbildung. Die vorliegende Arbeit ist der Pilot einer von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft gefrderten Studie zur sozialen Wahrnehmung bei Psychosen. Sie diskutiert das Potential des Blickverhaltens als Endophnotyp psychotischer Strungen und Zielvariable psychotherapeutischer Interventionen zur Verbesserung funktioneller Defizite, die bis dato nur unzureichend therapeutisch zugnglich sind.
