Los estudiantes, interactan con la cultura, como lo seala el constructivismo social; se comunican con palabras, imgenes, sonido y silencio, principalmente, a travs de plataformas sociales. Desde la didctica, esta forma de comunicacin habr de mirarse con el enfoque comunicativo funcional de la lengua que permite al joven leer el mundo y leerse a s mismo a travs de los libros. Persiste adems una tensin pedaggica entre el docente, que debe ensear lo que indica el currculum y el estudiante que desea aprender slo lo que le interesa. Para ello, las didcticas especializadas con la ayuda de las TIC proveen herramientas que propician aprendizajes significativos. En este contexto, lectura comprensiva de obras literarias, goce esttico, reflexin y anlisis podran favorecerse si el docente incorpora los Blogs como bitcoras de lectura, al repertorio didctico, respetando con ellos las diferencias individuales y los niveles de competencia literaria y tecnolgica de los estudiantes. El estudio describe qu aspectos de estas competencias se activan y fomentan con esta herramienta digital y propone una estrategia didctica aplicable y replicable en otros entornos educativos.
