Blogs, within a short time period, have gone from relative uncertainty to enormous popularity not just because they enable easy, inexpensive selfpublication of content for a potentially unlimited audience on World Wide Web. But indeed they enable Slovaks to open up new frontiers to negotiate the right to alternative sources of information and offer them new spaces of expression and deliberation that did not exist before.
