You have to wonder what kind of pets cartoonist Darby Conley had as a child. If they were anything like Bucky Katt and Satchel Pooch. . . well, life in the Conley house must have been interesting to say the least. The wacky triumvirate of Bucky, Satchel, and Rob are back in this Get Fuzzy collection,Rob Wilco is the mildmannered ad executive caretaker of Bucky and Satchel. Satchel is a sweet and nave sharpeiyellowLab cross, while Bucky is a Siamese with cattitude to spare. Bucky and Satchel get along like, well, like cats and dogs. Like a beleaguered parent, Rob constantly must thwart Buckys schemes and protect the unsuspecting Satchel. His pets mischief continually disrupts his attempts to meet women. You try explaining to your date why your cat thinks hes a gangsta rapper and your dog is filming his ;crib for MTV. Would anyone live with humans who behaved like this?Bitingly funny with a wry sense of the absurdity of life with pets, Get Fuzzy appeals to everyone who has ever lived in a mixedspecies household.

I enjoyed Volume 5, but I felt some of the jokes fell flat compared to earlier collections. It’s still funny, but not as strong as I expected. It's a nice read for fans, but maybe not the best starting point for new readers.

Great Addition to My Collection
I picked up this Get Fuzzy collection as a gift for my brother. He was thrilled to add it to his bookshelf. The artwork is as charming as ever, and the stories are just as funny! Just wish it came with a dust jacket.

Not What I Hoped For
I’m a huge Get Fuzzy fan, but this volume was a bit disappointing. Some of the strips felt recycled or didn’t hit the mark humor-wise. I wanted to love it, but it just didn’t capture the same magic as the earlier books. Hope the next one is better!

A Must-Have for Comic Fans
I've been a fan of the Get Fuzzy comics for years, and this collection definitely doesn't disappoint! Volume 5 is full of hilarious strips that had me laughing out loud. If you love quirky humor and adorable animals, you have to grab this volume.
