I was excited to get this insect board book for my niece, but it didn't meet my expectations. The 'high contrast' isn't as pronounced when you see it in person. She still enjoys it, but the colors could be more vibrant. I'm on the fence about recommending it.

The idea behind this board book is adorable, and my toddler enjoys looking at the bugs. However, I found the pages a bit thicker than I expected, which means they're harder for him to turn. Still a great buy for learning about insects though!
