The soft martial arts address the internal development of the individual, contrasting with the external power developed by the combative martial arts. This book guides the student through the ancient Chinese techniques of spiritual training and meditation through movement. The book is divided into two sections. Part one introduces the four major soft martial art systems, with clear and precise explanations of the traditional theories underlying each one.
