Wir haben festgestellt, dass es auch anderen so geht, da uns auch auf Nachfrage niemand eine przise Antwort darauf geben konnte. Unser BPSI haben wir beide im Bereich der Behindertenarbeit absolviert und hatten dort unter anderem Kontakt zu psychisch erkrankten Personen. Von unseren Kollegen erfuhren wir, dass der Umgang mit BorderlinePatienten aufgrund ihres wechselnden Verhaltens und ihrer Unberechenbarkeit oft mhselig sei. Keiner von ihnen strebe deshalb die Betreuung eines Betroffenen an. Auch unsere Literaturrecherche besttigt dies, hufig haben Therapeuten Probleme bei der Behandlung von BorderlinePatienten und auch die Betroffenen selbst berichten davon, dass sie groe Schwierigkeiten im Umgang mit anderen Personen haben. Whrend unserer Vorbereitung auf die Studienarbeit sind wir auf das Buch Leben auf der Grenze Erfahrungen mit Borderline' von Andreas Knuf gestoen, in dem Betroffene von ihrer Erkrankung berichten. Da dort sehr anschaulich beschrieben wird, wie und vor allem wie unterschiedlich der Krankheitsverlauf sein kann, werden wir zwei Erlebnisberichte verkrzt anfhren. Sie sollen untersttzend zur Theorie eine bessere Verstndlichkeit schaffen und einen Einblick in die Gefhlswelt eines BorderlinePatienten liefern. Zu Beginn unserer Studienarbeit fhren wir die Definition des BorderlineSyndroms nach Kernberg, ICD 10 und DSM IV auf, gefolgt von den zwei Erfahrungsberichten. Anschlieend gehen wir auf die Entstehung, die Prvalenz und den Verlauf ein. Schlielich befassen wir uns mit Therapiemglichkeiten und der medikamentsen Behandlung.
