I ordered this for the Fourth of July but it came a week late. The movie itself is a great version, but the wait was frustrating. Just plan ahead if you're hoping to use it for a special occasion!

Not as good as I expected
I was excited to get the 40th Anniversary Edition, but the picture quality wasn’t as impressive as I thought it would be. It’s still a classic, though, and I appreciate the historical context.

Perfect gift for a history buff!
I gifted this to my dad for his birthday since he's a huge fan of war movies. He loved the 40th Anniversary Edition! The special features were a nice touch. We ended up watching it together and had a great time.

Great nostalgia, but some flaws
The 40th anniversary edition of this film is a lovely tribute, but the disc arrived with a few scratches which affected playback. Still a great movie for Independence Day, just wish it was packaged better!

Excellent addition to any collection
As a fan of this film, I couldn't pass up the 40th Anniversary Edition! The cover art is stunning and it has some great extras. It makes for a great watch on July 4th!
