Die Brder Jacob und Wilhelm Grimm, vor allem bekannt durch ihre berhmte Mrchensammlung, hatten eine besondere Geschwisterbeziehung. Obwohl sie den gemeinsamen Lebensweg bereits in jungen Jahren beschlossen, gab es vor allem in ihrer Jugend Zeiten, in denen sie getrennt waren. Die hier vorliegende Sammlung an Briefen von umfasst die Jahre 1805 bis 1915 und ist der schnste Beweis fr ihre innige brderliche Liebe und ihren geistigen Zusammenhalt. Hermann Grimm, Sohn von Wilhelm, gab im Jahre 1881 ihre Briefe erstmalig gesammelt heraus. Vorliegende Ausgabe ist ein hochwertiger Nachdruck der Originalschrift in Fraktur von 1881.
