Product Description Puddleby, the pony; Smooch, the piggy; and Cedric the goose are bored. What do three bored critters do to amuse themselves? Smooch, being a pig, thinks playing in the mud hole is a great idea. However, their owner thinks not! Then, finding an abandoned tin can in the tall grass, gives the brothers an idea of a game they could play. Little boys and girls have played Kickthecan forever. Now these three critters decide to try their hand at the game of Kickthecan. What a hoot! Watch their antics as they try to adapt to having a hoof and not a foot, or a wing without a glove. Smooch, the tiny pig, happens to look up just as the can tumbles from the sky. Oops! This rhyming almost true story of three real live critters is sure to hold your attention until the very end. About the Author Thea Wilcox lives in central Florida with her husband and a menagerie of critters. Puddleby, a small pony, and Smooch, a pink pig, are certified therapy animals. They routinely entertain chronically ill and disadvantaged children. In her books, you will meet Cedric, her bold goose, who is not a therapy goose. Nonetheless, he needed to be a character in the books, based on his bossy presence in the farmyard. The preparation for these appearance compromise much of the Wilcox's time. Hours of each day are spent in the care and training of these real life animals. When Miss Thea can steal a moment of quiet, she enjoys sitting beneath a grand old oak tree and observing her animals at play. The animals themselves inspired her to write their story as she imagines it is playing out. Brotherly Bliss is her second book. Puddleby, was her original creation, while Brotherly Bliss is her second book in this series, and a third book, Sneeze Please, has a 2013 release date.
