Fachtagung Psychische Belastungen im Beruf" ein. Zahlreiche Menschen wrden sich in der gegenwrtigen Arbeitssituation krperlich und emotional ausgebrannt" und leer fhlen. Populrwissenschaftlich wrde dieser Erschpfungszustand im Zusammenhang mit der Berufsttigkeit als Burnout" bezeichnet werden (Poppelreuther 2010 zit. nach Keuchen 2010: 88). Die Bedeutung von Burnout ist gewaltig: die Krankheitstage zwischen 2004 und 2010 sind lt. einer Pressemitteilung des Wissenschaftlichen Instituts der AOK im April diesen Jahres wegen Burnout um nahezu das 9fache gestiegen (WIdO 2011:1). Der gesamtwirtschaftliche Schaden ist also enorm. Zudem nahm die Hufigkeit der psychischen Erkrankungen in den letzten Jahren immer mehr zu. Laut WIdOMitteilung seit 1999 sogar um 80%. Dabei treffe es Frauen und Menschen in erzieherischen und therapeutischen Berufen noch hufiger (WIdO 2011:1f). Nicht zuletzt aus ureigenstem Interesse ist es mir als Erzieherin an einem Frhfrderzentrum deshalb wichtig mich mit dem Thema Burnout zu befassen. Es geht darum mich selbst gesund zu erhalten, die Qualitt meiner Arbeit zu bewahren und meine Arbeitskraft zu sichern. Auch im Hinblick auf meine zuknftige berufliche Rolle in der Sozialen Arbeit ist dieses Thema von Bedeutung: Einerseits wird es Teil meiner Aufgabe sein gesellschaftliche Bedingungen und Strukturen zu erkennen, mitzugestalten und Ursachen, welche krank machen, zu beseitigen (Keller/Novak 1993 zit. nach ReinersKrncke u.a. 2010: 63). Andererseits: wenn Menschen hufiger von Burnout betroffen sind, so gehren diese Menschen auch immer hufiger zu den Klienten der Sozialen Arbeit, z.B. im Bereich der Arbeitslosenberatung und im Bereich REHA/Wiedereingliederung in der klini
