En esta investigacin observamos cmo estudiantes de bachillerato enfrentan tareas de identificacin de reas iguales en figuras geomtricas que cambian de posicin, forma o son reconfiguradas. En nuestra observacin hemos usado manipulables los que hemos dibujado, doblado, cortado y movido. Tambin hemos atendido el problema del permetro y concluimos que la recomposicin se vuelve ms compleja con mayor nmero de cortes, al permetro no lo calculan sino lo estiman visualmente, observan la figura por su apariencia y aspecto global, en ausencia de sus propiedades figurales por tanto no pueden accionar las relaciones matemticas.
