About the Author Dr. Melvin Blackaby has a B.A. from Harding Simmons University and a PhD from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of Going the Second Mile and coauthor of many books with his father, Henry Blackaby. He travels extensively as a conference speaker and serves as a senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Georgia. He, his wife Gina and their three children live in Georgia.
