This volume is illustrated with black andwhite diagrams and photographs, and uses different typefacesand subject headings in the chapters. The diagrams are informative and clearly labeled, while the photos of cells, many times enlarged, are dark, fuzzy, and hard to see. There are also photos of patients undergoing therapy and of the doctors who treat them. While this is a good introduction to the subject, the Silversteins' Cancer: Can it be Stopped?
