I bought this hoping for a more poetic approach, but honestly, it felt too simplistic. I didn’t find it captured the spirit of the original work. Also, delivery was delayed by a week, which was frustrating. Just not what I was hoping for.

I really enjoyed this new translation of Canzoniere. The language feels modern yet retains the original's essence. It’s perfect for my poetry club where we discuss various interpretations. Highly recommend it if you want a fresh perspective!

Not what I expected
This translation has its moments, but I felt like some of the depth was lost. The poetry is beautiful, but it just didn’t resonate with me as much as the original. Maybe it's the style? Still worth a read if you love poetry.
