El trabajo es un estudio tanto morfolgico como histolgico de las distintas especies de Plantago utilizadas como medicinales. Lo que se intenta es buscar las diferenciaciones caractersticas de las distintas especies para as detectar posibles fraudes en la preparacin de medicamentos de estas especies. Para ello hemos cogido como plantas de referencia las depositadas en el herbario del Jardn Botnico de Valencia y hemos analizado varias muestras para ver dichas diferenciaciones. El trabajo queda resumido en las fichas correspondientes a dichas especies. Dichas fichas se encuentran tambin en el SEPLAN (servicio nacional de certificacin de plantas y hongos) para su utilizacin. Con esto queremos que sirva como herramienta de determinacin de muestras de trozos de planta para evitar acciones fraudulentas.
