In den hier beschriebenen Arbeiten konnte erstmals die prinzipielle Machbarkeit einer kardiovaskulrenSubtypspezifischen Programmierung pluripotenter Stammzellen ohne Beeintrchtigung ihrer Funktionalitt gezeigt werden. Dies stellt einen wichtigen Schritt in Richtung einer gezieltenZelltherapie kardiovaskulrer Erkrankungen dar.
