About the Author Dr. Grace Allman Burke is a native New Yorker who has been living in Dallas, Texas for many years. She is a freelance writer and the author of three prior books, several healthrelated articles, and short stories for children. Her current book, CARIBBEAN ADVENTURE, is based on her personal experiences living in the West Indies, where she worked for fifteen years as an international health consultant. Dr. Burke is a Registered Nurse and Certified NurseMidwife. Her education includes a Doctorate degree in Theology, graduate and undergraduate degrees in Nursing, and Diplomas in Book Writing and Writing for Chlildren and Teenagers from the Institute of Children's Literature. Her published titles are COUPLES OF THE BIBLE, for young adults, THE STRANGER'S SON, a biblical historical novel for children, and DELIGHTS BY DAISY, a cookbook containing 50 of her mother's scrumptious recipes.
