This project reviewed some key issues relating to contract for carriage of goods by sea as introduced in the CMI/UNCITRAL Draft Instrument which is meant to unify into one all other existing international conventions on carriage of goods by sea. However, more comparism was made between the instrument and the International Convention for the Carriage of Goods 1978, otherwise known as "The Hamburg Rules"
