In Interactive Notebooks: Language Arts for second grade, students will complete handson activities about consonant digraphs, adjectives and adverbs, compound words, contractions, prefixes, suffixes, and more. The Interactive Notebooks series spans kindergarten to grade 5. Each 96page book contains a guide for teachers who are new to interactive note taking, lesson plans and reproducibles for creating notebook pages on a variety of topics, and generic reproducibles for creating even more notebook pages. The books focus on gradespecific math or language arts skills and are aligned to current state standards.

The interactive notebook is a solid resource for 2nd graders. My daughter enjoys the variety on the 96 pages, but I did notice some activities repeated throughout. Still, it's a great supplement to her language arts learning.

Nice concept, but not sturdy enough
I really liked the idea of the Carson Dellosa interactive notebook, but the pages are thinner than I expected. One of the pages tore when my son was trying to peel a sticker off. It’s useful for practice, but I wish the quality was a bit better.
