Adam Caruso studierte an der McGill Universitt in Montreal, Peter St John an der Bartlett und an der Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. Beide haben fr Florian Beigel und Arup Associates gearbeitet bevor sie 1990 ihr Bro in London erffneten. Von 1999 bis 2001 hatten sie eine Gastprofessur an der Architekturfakultt der Universitt Tessin in Mendrisio inne; derzeit sind sie Professoren an der University of Bath. Caruso und St John gehren zu den derzeit interessantesten Architekten Grobritanniens. Die vorliegende Monografie veranschaulicht an aktuellen Projekten den innovativen und schpferischen Umgang mit Materialien. 'Was uns interessiert ist die emotionale Dimension des Bauens.
