There are a number of interrelated push and pull factors for such massive migration of people from places of origin to places of destination. But the extent and the types of these pull and push factors vary from one place to another place. This book has examined the most important determinants of migration (push and pull factors) on the Gamo people form Southern Ethiopia National Regional State to Addis Ababa capital city of Ethiopia. In addition, the book has identified the peculiar work culture of the migrant Gamo people. It also has provided relevant evidences regarding the consequences of migration on the socioeconomic lives of migrants themselves as well as areas of origin and destination.
