I just finished carving my first bear using this guide from Fox Chapel Publishing. The step-by-step instructions were super clear, and the illustrations really helped me stay on track. I loved the beginner-friendly approach, making it feel less intimidating. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to try chainsaw carving!

Helpful but needs more detail
This book is definitely a good start for chainsaw carving, but I found some parts a bit vague. While the steps are easy to follow, I wished there were more detailed explanations on certain techniques. Still, it’s a fun way to get into carving bears!

Arrived damaged, disappointing
I was excited to get this guide, but when it arrived, the cover was bent and some pages were wrinkled. I was hoping for a pristine book since it’s a gift for my husband. The instructions looked promising though, so I hope it’ll still be useful once I get a replacement.
