About Book: The book is based on the research study conducted on Indian Kabaddi Players. The purpose of the study was to characterize elite Indian Kabaddi Players to standardized human performance measures by their Incentive Motivation and selected Anthropometric Characteristics. Another purpose of the study was to compare Playing Positions of Kabaddi Players (Raiders, Corners, Blockers and AllRounders) by their Incentive Motivation and selected Anthropometric Characteristics. To characterize elite Indian Kabaddi players to their standard human performance measures by Incentive Motivation and selected Anthropometric Characteristics, Descriptive Statistics were used. To compare Incentive Motivation and selected Anthropometric Characteristics among Kabaddi players belonging to four different playing positions (Raiders, Corners, Blockers and AllRounders), one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used and the level of significance was set at 0.05 level.The outcome of the study is fructiferous for physical education teachers and coaches of kabaddi.
