Zur Erfllung dieser gestiegenen Anforderungen kann der Unternehmer auf das Instrument Benchmarking zurckgreifen. Benchmarking vereint bereits vorhandene Werkzeuge und hilft, im Vergleich mit den Besten strukturiertere Prozesse und Methoden zu analysieren und auf das eigene Unternehmen zu projizieren. Der oberste Grundsatz von Benchmarking ist daher: Lernen von den Besten!'1 In dieser Hausarbeit soll das Instrument Benchmarking kurz charakterisiert werden. Ferner soll erlutert werden, welche Varianten des Benchmarking vorhanden sind und in welche Phasen das Benchmarking unterteilt werden kann. Anhand eines Bckereiunternehmens werden die jeweiligen Varianten und Phasen an einem Beispiel exemplarisch vorgestellt und verdeutlicht.
