I ordered 'Check Please! 2' hoping for something new, but the recipes felt a bit too basic for me. Some pages also came damaged, which was disappointing. I might try a few more, but it wasn’t my favorite purchase.

Great for beginners!
As someone who’s just starting to bake, I found 'Check Please! 2' very helpful. The instructions are clear, but some recipes take a little longer than expected. Still, the scones turn out great and it's a lot of fun to try new flavors!

Good, but some misses
I think 'Check Please! 2' has a solid variety of scone recipes, but a few didn’t quite match my taste. The blueberry scones were fantastic, but the chai flavor was a bit off for my palate. Still, I’ll be trying more from this book!
