Gleiche Erkenntnisse sind der PisaStudie 20064 zu entnehmen. Sie hat aufgezeigt, dass nach bemerkenswerten Fortschritten in den Naturwissenschaften von PISA 2000 zu PISA 2003 nur in wenigen Bundeslndern seit PISA 2003 eine deutliche Kompetenzsteigerung5 in dieser Domne beobachtet werden konnte. Dies liegt vor allem an der von den meisten Lehrenden eingesetzten deduktiven' Methode. Es werden bestimmte naturwissenschaftliche Konzepte erklrt und Beispiele fr ihre Anwendung gegeben. Fr solch ein Vorgehen mssen die Schler zum Verstndnis mit abstrakten Theorien umgehen knnen. Dies jedoch ist eine Hrde fr viele Lernenden.
