This book grows as a child grows. From birth through age six and all the growing days in between, Child of God provides the perfect place to gather thoughts, prayers, and memories. It also makes a wonderful tool for baptismal preparation program directors and parents as it follows along the beginning years of raising a child in faith. Most pages open with a short sentence or two from scripture or traditional Christian prayers, accented with bits of art. Capture baby handprints and footprints, photos, newspaper clippings, a lock of hair, a lost tooth. Record poignant stories, special drawings, dates of sacraments received, and pieces of family history. Godparents and grandparents will also find places to contribute. After the pages are filled, put this book away and later present it to the grown child as a special gift.
