Choura's memoir is an interesting look at Alexandra Danilova's life, but I found some sections dragged on a bit. The insights into her career are great, yet I wish there were more anecdotes to spice it up. Still, it's a solid read for anyone who loves dance.

Not what I expected
I bought this book thinking it would be all about Danilova's performances, but it felt more like a lengthy biography. The writing style is nice, but it didn't hold my attention as much as I hoped. If you're strictly looking for performance stories, this may not be for you.

I picked up 'The Memoirs of Alexandra Danilova' by Choura hoping for a glimpse into the world of ballet, and it did not disappoint! The storytelling is vivid, and you can really feel her passion for dance through the pages. Highly recommend this to anyone interested in ballet history or memoirs in general!
