Second graders of Ravinia Elementary School, in a project with their teacher Elizabeth Burton, decided to rewrite the traditional Cinderella story into a modern setting of Chicago, drawing from the personage of superstar Michael Jordan as the Fairy Godfather in Ciinderfella. The Godfather, of course, has his own agenda for granting wishes. Ive been sent here, Michael says, to help you see that when we are kind to others, they will be kind to us. Now that you realize this, I am ready to help you. Your wish is my command! Thus, Michael gets involved in the Slam Dunk Contest wherein he solicits the help of other superstar colleagues like Shawn Kemp, Scottie Pippen, John Paxon, Charles Berkley, and Shaquille O'Neal.
