City of Night Birds had an intriguing start, but the ending left me frustrated. I felt like it built up to something epic that never materialized. The writing is lovely, but I wanted more closure.

City of Night Birds is a captivating tale that kept me on my toes. The characters are richly developed, and the plot twists are truly unexpected. I loved how the author painted the setting; I could almost hear the rustling of the leaves!

I enjoyed the story of City of Night Birds, but I found some chapters dragged a bit. The writing is beautiful, but it took me a while to get through the slower parts. Still worth a read for the strong character moments.

I picked up City of Night Birds hoping for a thrilling ride, but it’s more poetic than I expected. The themes are deep, and if you enjoy that kind of writing, you might love it. Just wasn’t exactly what I was looking for.
