The book is perfect for new teachers, teachers new to games, or parents as game making instructions in the book detail tips for making the games. The games in this book have been classroom tested and enjoyed by many. Skills covered by these games include: estimation, place value, adding/subtracting decimals, geometry vocabulary, multiplication/division facts, patterning, Customary and Metric measurement, measurement conversion, probability, and use of formal vocabulary.

The games are fine for my fourth grader, but I wish there were more variety. They enjoyed some activities, but a few felt repetitive after a while. Still, it’s a decent resource for practicing math skills.

Disappointing Quality
I was not impressed with this volume. Some of the game pieces arrived damaged, and it seemed a bit thrown together. My kids didn’t seem interested either, so not the best purchase for us.
