I recently picked up this book on cloud-native data center networking and I’m really impressed. The explanations of protocols and tools are detailed yet easy to follow. It’s been super helpful in my job as a network engineer, especially when dealing with advanced architectures.

Somewhat outdated content
While I appreciate the effort put into this book, I felt some of the content was a bit outdated. Networking tools change rapidly, and some of the protocols discussed aren’t widely used anymore. It’s got great foundational info, but not everything is applicable today.

Perfect for advanced users!
As a cloud architect, I found this book incredibly useful. The depth of information on networking architecture is just what I needed for my projects. The figures and diagrams are particularly helpful, making complex ideas easier to grasp. Highly valuable for anyone in the field.

A bit technical for beginners
I bought this for my team, and while it has a wealth of information, some parts were quite dense. If you’re new to networking, it might be a challenge. However, the coverage of cloud-native concepts is beneficial once you get the hang of it.

Solid resource, but could be clearer
The book dives deep into networking protocols and tools, which are crucial for current systems. However, I found that some explanations could be clearer. It’s a solid resource, but don’t expect to breeze through it if you’re not already familiar with the topics.
