Para Cuba se considera un problema de seguridad nacional; por tanto, la formacin de decisores en este sentido es vital. Esta investigacin fue dirigida a funcionarios gubernamentales del Poder Popular con la finalidad de alcanzar sistematicidad, articulacin y jerarquizacin en un Proceso Formativo en Seguridad Alimentaria y Nutricional que impacte con pertinencia en la localidad. Se propone una estrategia, cuyo fin es lograr una preparacin integral en los implicados, para que acten en consonancia con lo que exige el modelo de desempeo profesional establecido socialmente. El mximo logro es que el funcionario gubernamental impacte pertinentemente con sus acciones locales y trascienda como transformador prctico de la realidad, siendo determinante direccionar un proceso formativo que le aporte herramientas necesarias para cumplir con responsabilidad social el encargo asignado, la satisfaccin de las necesidades alimentarias y nutricionales de las personas.
