I enjoyed the insights into WWII operations, but some chapters felt a bit slow. The writing was good, but I wished for more action and less detail on logistics. Still, it's a solid book for anyone interested in military strategies.

Not what I expected, slightly disappointing
I was excited to read about the WWII operations, but I found some parts confusing and disjointed. The narrative didn’t flow as I had hoped, and I struggled to stay engaged. It’s well-researched, but just not my favorite writing style.

A great read for history buffs
As a fan of military history, I found this book enlightening. It dives deep into the operations against the Japanese in the Solomon Islands during WWII, and the details are incredible. The author really brings the battles to life, making the events feel real and impactful.
