I bought this book for my grandfather who served in WWII. He really appreciated the Texas angle and loved reminiscing about his own experiences. The stories included are touching, but I wish it had more illustrations or photos. Still a heartfelt gift!

Interesting but Lacked Depth
I enjoyed reading about Texans in World War II, but I felt some parts were a bit shallow. The book is well-organized, but I was hoping for more detailed accounts. Still, it’s a decent read for those interested in military history.

Disappointed with the Condition
Unfortunately, the book arrived with a couple of pages wrinkled and a small tear on the cover. The content seems interesting, but I was really put off by the state it came in. I hope to get a replacement soon.

A Must-Read for History Buffs
As a Texan and a history lover, I found this book fascinating! It dives deep into the stories of Texans in World War II, which you don’t often see. The personal anecdotes really bring the history alive. Highly recommend if you want a unique perspective on the war.
