El presente trabajo pretende construir un "mapeo" de las publicidades y sus modalidades aparecidas en los diarios con edicin electrnica explorando la posibilidad de elaborar informacin que permita realizar reflexiones sobre la comunicacin y marketing. Se desarrolla algunos elementos de comprensin de la importancia de la Web en tanto espacio de informacin desde un punto de vista sociolgico y metodolgico. El procedimiento seleccionado fue realizar una indagacin sobre la publicidad en Internet. Las publicidades observadas fueron aquellas que aparecen en las versiones digitales de la primera pantalla de los diarios de mayor tirada nacional de la Argentina. Se reflexiona tambin sobre las prcticas de investigacin; desde el comienzo del relevamiento de la informacin, pasando por la construccin del dato y el desafo de superar los obstculos que se presentan entre el sujeto observador y las herramientas de observacin
