The Community-Based Corrections book is full of great information, but some sections felt really heavy to get through. I found myself skimming parts just to grasp the main ideas. Good for reference, just not an easy read!

Great resource for understanding corrections
I recently bought the Community-Based Corrections book for a course I'm taking. It's packed with useful insights on rehabilitation programs and alternative sentencing. Definitely a must-read for any criminal justice student!

Not what I expected
I was hoping for a more practical guide on community-based programs, but this reads more like a textbook. A few chapters were interesting, but overall, I was a bit disappointed. Wish it had more case studies.
