Batty of North Little Rock, Arkansas, a noted collector of pressed glass for almost 40 years, the oversized, 261page volume identifies and illustrates for the first time more than 200 glass patterns never before listed by other authorities.Artist John Hendricks' drawings, more than 300 sketches, depict the design and character of the various patterns and in many cases highlight special design and detail of notable patterns.All of the works shown are from the author's personal collection, which numbers more than 2,700 pieces representing some 1,900 patterns.
