Los afsicos de Broca presentan problemas sintcticos tanto en la expresin como en la comprensin del lenguaje. Realizamos esta investigacin con el fin de describir qu estrategias utilizan los afsicos de Broca para comprender el lenguaje, y analizar si la concordancia entre el sujeto y el verbo ayuda a los sujetos a comprender las oraciones. Se dise una prueba con oraciones en las que se incluyen diferentes variables como son: el orden de los elementos sintcticos que componen la oracin, la concordancia entre el sujeto y el verbo con inflexiones gramaticales de nmero y persona; y la presencia o ausencia de la preposicin. La muestra consta de 24 pacientes afsicos de Broca diagnosticados con la Batera de Western. Los resultados confirman que los afsicos de Broca presentan alteracin en la comprensin del lenguaje a nivel sintctico. La estrategia que utilizan para la comprensin de las oraciones se basa en el orden de constituyentes, es decir, eligen como sujeto el primer elemento que aparece en la oracin. Algunos pacientes presentan alteracin en la comprensin desde el nivel morfolgico, especficamente en la flexin verbal.
