Die Arbeit befat sich mit der computergesttzten Produktionsplanung, insbesondere mit dem Datenmanagement und der Informationsverarbeitung in PPSSystemen (PPS: Produktionsplanung und steuerung). Die theoretisch fundierten und praxisorientierten Schwerpunkte sind zum einen die Klrung der datenmigen Voraussetzungen, um ein integriertes PPSInformationssystem betreiben zu knnen. Zum anderen werden die anwendungsneutralen Datenbankkonzepte erlutert sowie die Mglichkeit aufgezeigt, die anwendungssystemabhngigen Daten bereitzustellen, um den Einsatz von PPSFunktionen innerhalb der Produktionsplanung zu gewhrleisten.
