The solo parts of this wonderful Double Concerto for two violins and orchestra survive in a faultless fair copy by Bach that was made around 1730. The slow movement is regarded as a melodic high point of the composers output. With the two solo violins on an equal footing, the concerto amply deserves its position as one of Bachs most oftenplayed and popular works.

I recently performed the Concerto for 2 Violins and Orchestra in D minor, and this multilingual edition was super useful. The layout is clear, making it easy to read while playing. My partner and I both loved the richness of the arrangement, and the multilingual annotations helped us understand the nuances better. Highly recommend for anyone looking to tackle this piece!

Difficult to follow for beginners
As a beginner, I found the Concerto for 2 Violins in this multilingual edition a bit challenging. The music is beautiful, but the complexity is a lot to handle. I wish there were more guidance in the annotations for those of us just starting out. It's a lovely piece, but maybe not the best choice for novice players.

Great edition but missing a few notes
I got this multilingual edition of the D minor concerto for a duo performance. The score is well presented, but I did notice a couple of minor omissions in the second violin part. Still, it’s a nice arrangement and the multilingual notes helped with the interpretation. Would have been perfect with minor corrections!
