Se realiz un estudio experimental del subtipo: Intervencin Comunitaria, en adolescentes femeninas de 9no grado de la Escuela Secundaria Bsica Pedro Fermn Armas de Coln, de Enero a Mayo del 2012. El objetivo fue identificar adolescentes riesgos de desarrollar conducta suicida y realizar intervenciones psicoeducativas para modificar consideraciones errneas que sobre el tema tienen las adolescentes. La alta morbilidad relacionada con la conducta suicida en este grupo, permiti plantear como problema cientfico: Estarn debidamente identificadas las adolescentes riesgo? Tendrn el nivel de informacin necesario sobre la conducta suicida y sus consecuencias? Se caracteriz la muestra empleando variables como tipo de familia, presencia de maltrato infantil, informacin general sobre el comportamiento suicida, entre otros. Se concluy que un tercio de la poblacin es riesgo suicida. Al aplicar la intervencin se logr aumentar el nivel de informacin relacionado con el tema, demostrando resultados positivos la aplicacin de esta intervencin siendo validada por ofrecer herramientas educativas para los distintos niveles de aprendizaje relacionado con la conducta suicida.
