I was really looking forward to this book, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The writing felt dry at times, and it didn't delve deep enough into the personalities of the first Congress members. I wish it had more anecdotes or personal stories. Disappointed!

This book covers a lot of ground, but I found some sections a bit rushed. Still, it gives a neat overview of the first members of Congress and their roles in shaping American history. A solid read if you're just starting to explore this topic!
