Social networking make people more easy to communicate. News can be known in no time. The advantage from social networking still abundant to be used by elearning system. The purpose of the thesis is to implementing web service for connecting learning management system with social networking. Social networking and learning management system capability, function and work process must be known to make web service can be implemented. Two system that will be used are Moodle for learning management system and Twitter for social networking. In the two system, Twitter already use a web service because of that Moodle need adjustment to implement it. Assignment module will be used with a web service. In summary implementing web service for connecting learning management system with social networking can be done. However, the thesis need future development to make it more mature.
