The First Edition of ConsciousnessRaising was written to raise the awareness of counselors and mental health professionals to the needs, concerns, and issues of individuals and groups from racially and culturally diverse populations. The rapid change in the ethnic minority population and their needs, along with the changes in training and counseling services, are reflected in this newly revised edition.
